Handle legal work associated with Production, International, Development & Follow-on Modernization, Sustainment and Supply Chain Management

Provide advice on data rights and program-related disputes at prime and subcontract levels

Develop and negotiate traditional and innovative strategies, contractual arrangements and terms

Collaborate closely with vice president level program leadership, contracts and finance teams and government and industry counterparts

Manage outside counsel and collaborate on investigations and litigation as needed

Required

Attorney position supporting the F-35 Lightning II Program

Handle legal work associated with Production, International (including collaboration on overseas co-production and industrial development), Development & Follow-on Modernization, Sustainment and Supply Chain Management

Lead on a dedicated portfolio in collaboration with the F-35 legal team

Full spectrum of government and commercial contracting from proposals to program performance

Provide advice on data rights and program-related disputes at prime and subcontract levels

Develop and negotiate traditional and innovative strategies, contractual arrangements and terms

Collaborate closely with vice president level program leadership, contracts and finance teams and government and industry counterparts as well as other attorneys on the program and in the department

Manage outside counsel and collaborate on investigations and litigation as needed

Strong leadership, communication and writing skills

Ability to act independently but also under guidance of senior leadership when necessary

Preferred

Experience with U.S. defense large acquisition programs including but not limited to aircraft and other major weapons systems

International Contracting legal experience (Foreign Military Sales, Direct Commercial Sales)

US Cooperative Program experience

Experience with claims and REAs

Familiarity with government cost principles and accounting standards

Experience with doing business internationally
