Responsibilities
Design planner–executor and multi-agent patterns (router/worker/critic/supervisor) using graph/state machines
Implement memory & context strategies (scratchpads, episodic/session memory, short/long-term stores)
Model tool/function schemas (input/output validation) and rollback on failures
Integrate securely with enterprise systems (e.g., Splunk, Dynatrace, ServiceNow/Jira, internal APIs)
Build RAG subagents; optimize chunking, metadata, ranking/re-ranking; ground answers with verifiable citations
Enforce prompt-injection defenses, sandbox tools, apply policy checks and least-privilege scoping
Implement DLP and redaction for PII/PHI/PCI; ensure Entra ID/OAuth/OIDC-based access
Ship step-level tracing (logs/metrics/traces), action logs, and chain-of-thought not persisted (safety)
Build evaluation harnesses: golden tasks, hallucination/groundedness checks, failure-path tests, load/cost tests
Version prompts, tools, and graphs; maintain registries; automate deploys (CI/CD), blue/green, and rollback
Run model routing (fallback/guardrails), token/cost tracking, and cost/performance optimization
Partner with product, security, legal, and domain SMEs; author runbooks, SOPs, threat models, and design docs
Qualification
Required
Proficient in Python or Java, REST APIs, testing, async I/O, and distributed systems basics
Hands-on with function/tool calling, planner–executor patterns, and graph/state orchestration (e.g., LangGraph, AutoGen, AWS Bedrock AgentCore others)
Embeddings, chunking, vector stores, re-ranking; grounding and citation strategies
Azure/AWS/GCP; containers (Docker); CI/CD (GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps)
OAuth, secrets/DLP, audit logging, least privilege
Clear documentation; ability to explain safety vs. autonomy trade-offs
