Responsibilities
Develop and implement company policies and regulations
Ensure all departments follow industry standards and comply with state and federal laws
Prepare and present reports to the executive team and stakeholders
Monitor business operations and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance
Assess the business’s future ventures to identify possible compliance risks
Review the work of colleagues to identify compliance issues and provide advice or training
Keep abreast of internal standards and business goals
Address employee concerns or questions on legal compliance
Perform all other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Compliance Director or similar role
Experience in risk management and knowledge of legal requirements and controls (e.g., Anti-Money Laundering, or AML)
Familiarity with industry practices and professional standards
Excellent communication skills
Integrity and professional ethics
Business acumen
Teamwork skills
Attention to detail
Preferred
Certified compliance professional is a plus
