Responsibilities
Manage all phases of litigation, including case intake, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation
Draft, proofread, and finalize pleadings, discovery responses, correspondence, and pre-trial materials
Oversee document organization, e-discovery workflows, and case file maintenance
Assist attorneys during depositions, hearings, and trials, including handling exhibits and logistics
Conduct legal and factual research using standard research tools
Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel under attorney supervision
Mentor and oversee a junior paralegal, delegating and reviewing tasks as necessary
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required; paralegal certificate preferred
5+ years of litigation paralegal experience, ideally in complex or specialized litigation
Demonstrated experience supporting trial preparation, arbitration, and high-volume case activity
Strong command of federal and state court rules, e-filing procedures, and litigation timelines
Proficiency with Westlaw, PACER, e-discovery tools, and document management systems
Exceptional attention to detail, organization, communication, and follow-through
