Responsibilities
Manage and optimize SQL Server and Microsoft Access; maintain and configure IIS environments
Acting as the internal lead for application maintenance and new development, you will interact directly with the end users to understand their needs and consult with management to tailor applications accordingly
Partner with our IT Director on security initiatives and system integrations as needed, providing backup coverage when the Director is unavailable
As part of a small, agile team, you will provide direct support to our staff when technical issues arise
Qualification
Required
Self-motivated: As part of a small team, you must work collaboratively to meet the needs of users and management
Independent Minded: You will be the resident expert, but still a team member
Adaptable: Small businesses are dynamic, the ability to pivot quickly is crucial
Sleuth: You will need to be able to decipher and adapt existing code
Experience: We are looking for someone with at least four years of relevant experience
Education: If you have a bachelor's degree in information technology or other relevant field, you will be well positioned to take on the job responsibilities
Server Management: SQL Server, SQL Reporting Services, IIS Server
Coding Knowledge: SQL, .NET, VB, VBA, JavaScript, HTML/CSS
Applications: MS Access, M365, Visual Studio, VisualSVN
