Responsibilities

Delivering high quality care to assigned patients

Carry out the medical plan of care and oversee the Nursing Assistants' care of residents and High School Students

Ensure that resident care is carried out in accordance with good nursing practice and applicable State and Federal regulations

Qualification

Current PA nursing licenseBLS (AHA) certificationNursing home experienceMedical asepsisProfessional manner

Required

BLS (AHA) - Required

Must possess a current license in PA or a temporary work permit - Required at time of Interview!

Must possess knowledge of: medical asepsis, body mechanics, personal care of residents, correct use and care of equipment, observation techniques, reporting and recording, thorough knowledge of nursing theory and it's application

Must be willing to possess knowledge of and comply with regulations, policies, procedures, contracts and philosophy of the institution

Must maintain a courteous and professional manner toward residents, visitors and co-workers and a dedication to meet the needs of the elderly

Preferred

Nursing Home Experience - a plus

COVID Vaccine - Preferred but not required
