Responsibilities
Administer, optimize, and troubleshoot Linux servers at scale
Work directly with hardware (CPU, memory, server performance tuning)
Manage large clustered environments
Automate system management with Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or CFEngine
Write and maintain Bash and Python scripts to streamline operations
Partner with storage engineers to ensure seamless OS-storage integration
Qualification
Required
Strong Linux OS administration background
Deep understanding of hardware fundamentals
Experience with large-scale Linux environments (thousands of machines)
Hands-on with automation/configuration tools
Proficiency in Bash and Python scripting
10+ years Linux experience in enterprise or HPC-like environments
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is helpful but not required
Proven track record of long-term ownership of systems
