Responsibilities
Serves as the technical specialist for the organization in the application of equipment, prototyping, or testing methods in the Treatment and Hydraulics area
Develops new techniques and/or improved processes, equipment, or test procedures
Keeps informed of new testing / equipment developments and requirements affecting the organization for the purpose of recommending changes in programs or applications
Interprets, organizes, executes, and coordinates testing programs
Receives supervision with assignments given in terms of broad general objectives and limits
General Lab upkeep
Other duties as assigned
Minimal travel required
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree is a minimum
7+ years of similar experience
Possesses exemplary oral and technical writing skills
Interacts with internal and external customers supporting sales
Plans and coordinates complex test procedures for the Treatment Category
Mentors other technicians as needed
Serves as the technical specialist for the organization in the application of equipment, prototyping, or testing methods in the Treatment and Hydraulics area
Develops new techniques and/or improved processes, equipment, or test procedures
Keeps informed of new testing / equipment developments and requirements affecting the organization for the purpose of recommending changes in programs or applications
Interprets, organizes, executes, and coordinates testing programs
Receives supervision with assignments given in terms of broad general objectives and limits
General Lab upkeep
Other duties as assigned
Minimal travel required
Preferred
Proficiency in CAD, structural design, and FEA (finite element analysis) is a plus
Data processing / signal manipulations and deductions
Project focus areas: Treatment Technology Areas including Hydrodynamic Separators, Biofiltration and Fabric Filtration, Metal and Plastic Prototyping, Programming (micro-controllers, PLC's and processors)
