They are seeking an Operations Clerk responsible for coordinating and scheduling transportation for shipments to ensure timely delivery, optimizing schedules, and resolving issues in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Responsibilities
Coordinate and Schedule Shipments: Manage transportation schedules to ensure on-time delivery, optimizing run sequencing for maximum productivity
Communication and Customer Service: Maintain open communication with drivers, customers, and vendors to support smooth operations and resolve issues promptly
Fleet and Route Management: Manage fleet resources, optimizing routes and adjusting schedules as needed to improve operational efficiency
Data Entry and Record Maintenance: Enter accurate records into CLI (Carrier Logistics Inc.) system to track shipments and support on-time delivery
Issue Resolution: Address delays or other challenges during transportation, collaborating with other departments to keep processes on track
Additional Duties: Complete any other responsibilities assigned by management
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint)
Strong analytical and data modeling skills
Preferred
Previous experience within the transportation industry preferred
Experience with CLI (Carrier Logistics Inc.) software is a plus
