Responsibilities
Join a collegial GI team with 12 physicians and 3 APPs across 6 locations
Practice model includes clinic hours, an endoscopy center, and access to infusion, pathology, and imaging
Outpatient-focused with procedures including colonoscopy, EGD, banding, dilation, capsule, and FibroScan
Call is optional and compensated; triaged by RNs with light volume
Balanced week with ~2.5 days clinic and ~2.5 days endoscopy
Clinic volumes average 25 patients/day; endoscopy 14-18 cases/day
No waitlist; same/next-day appointments available during ramp-up
ASC onsite with Olympus scopes, 3 ORs, and full pre/post-op care
Qualification
Required
Medical degree (MD or DO)
Board certification in Gastroenterology
Valid medical license to practice in Texas
Experience in outpatient-focused procedures including colonoscopy, EGD, banding, dilation, capsule, and FibroScan
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Willingness to take call if desired
