Responsibilities
Collect and document comprehensive patient assessment data
Analyze assessment findings to identify patient diagnoses and care needs
Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Advocate for patient safety and optimal outcomes
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
Ensure effective use of time, supplies, and equipment
Educate patients and families on medications, procedures, and treatments
Provide ongoing emotional support to patients and families
Qualification
Required
Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in Florida
Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience
Nursing Diploma or ASN required
BLS (AHA Healthcare Provider) required prior to start
NIH Stroke Scale certification required within 30 days of hire
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities
Ability to manage care autonomously in a high-acuity environment
Team-oriented, patient-centered approach
Preferred
BSN preferred
