Responsibilities
Perform daily machine startup and shut-down procedure on CNC cutting equipment
Stage raw material at each work center for production processing
Load/unload materials and parts finish from CNC cutting equipment to maintain production schedule
Perform maintenance and cleaning of production equipment and work area in accordance with company and manufacturers machine recommendations
Perform machine alignment procedure and/or optical cleaning to keep CNC cutting equipment at peak operating performance
Perform laser cutting conditions (Voltage power, gas, feed rate) to optimize machine cutting process
Ensure production schedule are follow through based on approved production schedule
Monitoring assist gas and resonator gas levels and recommended supply requirements for daily production
Operator to coordinate with supervisor for machine maintenance
Operator to coordinate with supervisor to keep production throughput
Monitor material usage and order for production throughput
Maintain document control per departments ISO standards
Supporting company policies and procedures, goals and objectives, ISO policies, and good manufacturing practices
Use Infor to keep track of work orders on a daily basis
Employees are to speak only English during an emergency and while performing job duties where there is potential for an emergency
Non-field-related positions require in-office work 5 days a week at the assigned branch office
Keep the laser area clean on a daily bases
Maintain files and records
Qualification
Required
Experience and/or trained operating a Laser/CNC cutting machines
1-1/2 years or more of experience of operating CNC laser cutting/punch press machines
Knowledge of manufacturing concepts
Understand G-code for laser cutting systems
Ability to grasp modern technology quickly
Familiar with sheet metal flat patterns
Knowledgeable on identifying industry standard metals
Must have good analytical skills and should be detail-oriented
Must be able to work in a team and follow deadlines
Must have good communication skills
Preferred
AA in engineering discipline desired (but not necessary)
