Orion Placement is a fast growing plaintiffs employment law firm that focuses on wage theft and wage and hour class actions. They are seeking an Employment Class Action Attorney to represent employees in class actions and PAGA matters, draft legal documents, and manage a caseload while receiving mentorship from senior attorneys.

Responsibilities
Represent employees in wage and hour class actions and PAGA matters involving unpaid overtime, meal and rest breaks, unreimbursed expenses, and related claims
Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and other litigation documents in state and federal court
Conduct legal research and write clear, persuasive briefs and case strategy memos
Take and defend depositions with guidance from experienced class action litigators
Help manage a growing caseload and hit deadlines in a fast paced environment
Work closely with senior attorneys while building toward independently managing your own matters
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
Active California Bar license in good standing
Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills
Organized, detail oriented, and able to manage priorities and deadlines
Preferred
Approximately 0 to 2 years of employment law experience with exposure to wage and hour class actions and or PAGA
