Responsibilities
Greets and prepares patient for provider examination and treatment. Performs general nursing care to patients. Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards. Observes, records, and reports patient’s condition to provider
Assists provider with procedures and properly maintains equipment before and after procedures
Engages in patient/family teaching to achieve the desired patient outcome
Monitors the scheduling of patients, answers patient inquiries, and maintains timely flow of patients
Arranges for patient referral testing at other facilities or specialty care
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
LPNIV - Lpn Iv Cert in the state of Missouri or Kansas, depending upon designated work location within 90 days
Clinical\BCLS - Basic Life Support within 90 days
2 years of Acute care nursing
Preferred
2 years office nursing experience
