Responsibilities

Provide leadership, supervision, and support to a multidisciplinary team of therapists and case managers
Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of individualized treatment plans
Ensure clinical programming aligns with evidence-based practices and adolescent mental health best practices
Conduct regular clinical supervision and staff performance evaluations
Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and accrediting body standards, including clinical documentation requirements
Lead and/or participate in case conferences, family meetings, and staff training sessions
Ensure timely completion of treatment plans, discharge summaries, and all clinical documentation
Provide clinical guidance and crisis intervention during high-risk situations
Serve as liaison with families, external providers, school personnel, and referral sources
Evaluate clinical outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives
Actively participate in leadership meetings, policy development, and strategic planning

Required

Minimum 7 years of clinical experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role
Demonstrated experience working with adolescents in a residential or acute care setting
Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care, evidence-based practices, and adolescent development
Skilled in clinical documentation, EMR systems, and compliance standards
Proven leadership and team management experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
High ethical standards and professional integrity
Cultural competence and sensitivity in working with diverse populations
Ability to remain calm and provide direction in crisis situations
Master's degree required in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field
Current and active clinical licensure in Virginia (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist)
CPR Certification
Behavioral Management Program Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)

Preferred

Doctorate degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field preferred
