They are seeking an experienced Class A Driver to handle local pickup and delivery operations, focusing on efficiently transporting freight while maintaining high standards of customer service and safety.

Responsibilities

Local Pickup and Delivery: Transport and deliver freight to customers and terminals in the assigned region
Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers to ensure deliveries meet their expectations
Documentation: Accurately complete delivery paperwork, including bills of lading and proof of delivery
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, including pre- and post-trip inspections and compliance with DOT regulations
Freight Handling: Assist with loading and unloading freight as necessary, using appropriate equipment like pallet jacks or lift gates
Communication: Maintain clear and timely communication with dispatch regarding delays, issues, or changes in delivery routes

Qualification

Class A CDLClean driving recordHazmat endorsementDoubles/Triples endorsementCustomer service

Required

1+ years of Class A driving experience required
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Valid Class A CDL with no restrictions
Hazmat and Doubles/Triples (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
Clean driving record is required
Ability to pass a background check and DOT drug screen
