Truck Loader - 2nd Shift
North Atlantic Corp is a company involved in the distribution of building materials and millwork products. They are seeking a Truck Loader to ensure the timely retrieval and loading of products onto delivery vehicles, focusing on safety and accuracy in the loading process.

Responsibilities
Perform all job operations in a safe manner in accordance with company safety policies
Retrieve products in the plant for staging or loading material
Daily, using assigned delivery tickets, pick required material and check for quality and quantity
Report missing material, damaged material or incorrect material to lead loader or 2nd Shift Loading Supervisor
Load company trucks for customer delivery using delivery tickets and necessary equipment
Re-read the ticket line-by-line, load the material as listed, re-inspect for quality and quantity. Be sure load is secure and positioned correctly
Mark the delivery ticket as loaded, back-ordered or not found
Assist customers with customer pick-ups using delivery tickets and necessary equipment
When needed employee will operate a forklift in a safe manner
Lift and carry various building materials within the warehouse onto a dolly/hand-truck to transport over to truck docking area
Push or pull a dolly/hand truck loaded with various building supply materials throughout the warehouse and onto the delivery truck
Shift and organize bulky building supply materials in the back of a delivery truck
Material handling of heavy building materials using dolly/hand truck
Qualification
Required
Must take and pass post-offer screening drug test, physical and consent to a background check
Standing/Walking: 8 hours repetitive on feet on concrete floor
Stooping/Reaching/Bending: continuous to gather items and fabricate
Overhead Lift: up to 7 lbs. without assistance and up to 14 lbs. w/ assistance
Lift/Grasp: with dominant hands and fingers up to 25 lbs. without assistance and up to 50 lbs. with assistance holding woodworking or steel components in fabrication
Carry/Grasp: with dominant hands and fingers up to 60 lbs. without assistance and up to 120 lbs. with assistance
Push/Pull: with dominant hands rolling carts of interior door products up to 600 lbs. without assistance and up to 1200 lbs. with assistance
Vision: must see near and far sighted
Hearing: must hear machinery sounds
Must be able to work in varied temperature hot or cold depending on the weather and how it affects the shop temperature
Extended work day (overtime) as needed
Work Boots with unworn treads
Tape Measure
Lunch box or lunch tote to bring lunch
No hooded sweatshirts with strings
