Senior Pipe Stress Engineer (Nuclear)

Responsibilities

Includes the modeling of the piping systems using Bentley AutoPipe to verify piping flexibility, stability, and qualification of equipment nozzle loads
Stress review of isometrics based on span tables
Work closely with layout personnel and pipe support engineers to deliver a quality and cost-effective design
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and vendors as required
Checking designs done by others
May include some lead activities

Qualification

Bentley AutoPipeASME B31.3ASME B31.1CAD EngineeringStress analysis

Required

U.S. Citizenship is required
Associate or Bachelor's degree or Certificate in CAD Engineering is required
5+ years of experience required for mid-level position
8+ years of work experience required for senior-level position
Prior experience using Bentley AutoPipe stress analysis software is required
Knowledgeable of ASME B31.3, B31.1 other relevant industry piping codes and standards
