The role involves performing skilled technical work on Traffic Lighting & Signal Systems, including installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical and microprocessor-based traffic signal control devices.

Responsibilities
Perform fieldwork with use of independent judgment. Typical field work consists of but not limited to:
Programming and configuring equipment at a new installation to operate as designed on the signal plans
Modifying existing traffic signal cabinets to operate as designed on the signal plans
Repairing or replacing malfunctioning equipment both new and used
Interact with internal and external customers and all levels of personnel
After-hours, and/or weekend work are required
Qualification
Required
Must have a high school diploma or GED
Must be a Journeymen Electrician with valid card
Traffic signal product knowledge required
Traffic maintenance experience required
Must have clean driving record and provide current DMV driving record
Willingness to travel to various job sites
Preferred
Some college or recognized trade school in electrical field (desired, not required)
