Responsibilities
Perform routine, corrective, and preventive maintenance on plant equipment
Troubleshoot and repair presses, welders, lift trucks, spray paint systems, HVAC systems, and power tools
Install, relocate, and modify equipment as needed, including basic plumbing repairs
Perform all types of maintenance-related welding
Apply electrical wiring practices for both AC and DC systems
Read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and electrical wiring diagrams
Conduct preventive maintenance in accordance with company programs
Work safely at heights above floor level when required
Ensure workmanship meets safety standards to protect employees and equipment
Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations
Maintain a clean, safe, and hazard-free work environment
Promote safety awareness and ensure work is always performed safely
Comply with quality, environmental, and documentation requirements
Support Environmental Management System (EMS) initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of a 2-year apprenticeship or equivalent journeyman-level experience (electrical or related trade preferred)
Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and the National Electrical Code (NEC)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and wiring diagrams
Experience performing industrial maintenance welding
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Capable of working at elevated heights
Must supply required hand tools for the role
Electrical, mechanical, and troubleshooting expertise
Blueprint and wiring diagram interpretation
Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
Effective problem-solving and time-management skills
Preferred
Prior industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience preferred
