Responsibilities
Local travel within Long Island/NY/NJ Region
Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair food, beverage, and bakery production equipment
Work on mixers, ovens, conveyors, fillers, packaging machines, pumps, motors, and gearboxes
Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs
Lead and support preventative maintenance (PM) and reliability programs
Serve as a lead mechanic and technical resource for maintenance teams
Assist with training and mentoring junior mechanics and technicians
Support equipment installations, upgrades, and line improvements
Use CMMS to document work orders, repairs, and parts usage
Ensure compliance with GMP, OSHA, food safety, and sanitation standards
Communicate effectively with production, quality, and leadership teams
Qualification
Required
