Responsibilities
Conduct detailed patient consultations, evaluations, and diagnostic assessments
Collaborate with specialists, advanced practice providers, and allied health professionals to coordinate patient care
Review and interpret diagnostic studies, laboratory results, and imaging as part of comprehensive patient assessments
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on best clinical practices
Provide education and guidance to patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care
Document all patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record (EHR)
Participate in care team meetings, quality assurance initiatives, and interdisciplinary discussions
Qualification
Required
MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Active or eligible Texas medical license
Preferred
Prior experience in consultative medicine or multidisciplinary care preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply
