The intern will be responsible for writing 2-4 articles per week, covering various sports and contributing to the production of high-quality content across multiple platforms.

Write 2-4 articles per week
Produce content that is timely, accurate, and engaging, including game previews, recaps, player profiles, and analysis of ongoing sports events
Research trending topics in sports and develop story ideas
Collaborate with our editorial team to refine and improve articles
Assist in sharing your articles on social media to engage with our audience
Stay informed about the latest sports news, stats, and developments across different sports leagues
Edit and proofread content for clarity, consistency, and accuracy
Qualification
Required
Strong passion for sports and sports journalism
Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
Ability to write quickly and accurately under tight deadlines
Strong research and fact-checking abilities
Familiarity with social media platforms and an understanding of how to engage sports fans online
A self-starter who can manage their workload independently and stay organized
Previous writing experience (personal blog, school publications, etc.) is a plus but not required
Preferred
Familiarity with multiple sports
Understanding of sports analytics and stats
Basic knowledge of SEO for writing and publishing online
Passion for staying up to date with the latest trends in the sports world
