Deskside Support Technician

Responsibilities

Provide onsite and remote deskside support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
Responsibility for meeting SLAs, response/resolution targets, and contributing to continuous service improvement
Expectation to maintain technical documentation, asset records, and SOPs
Able to support flexible working hours both time of day and days of week
Troubleshoot and resolve incidents involving Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft 365, printers, and standard business applications
Respond promptly to service tickets, document actions taken, and maintain clear communication with users and management
Set up, configure, and deploy new workstations and devices following company standards
Assist with user onboarding/offboarding, including account setup and access management
Collaborate with other IT team members and escalate complex issues as required
Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices for data protection and privacy
Work support request tickets using standard ITIL v4 methodology

Qualification

Windows OSMac OSMicrosoft 365CompTIA A+Network+Customer serviceProblem-solvingCommunication

Required

Associate degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent work experience
Valid driver's license and ability to drive to customer sites as required
3+ years of deskside or IT support experience in a managed services or enterprise environment
Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac OS, Microsoft 365, and common hardware troubleshooting
Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift and move equipment (up to 40 lbs) as needed

Preferred

CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications preferred
