Responsibilities
Join a collegial GI team of 7 physicians, 4 APPs, and robust clinical support staff
Primarily general GI with opportunity to focus on gastric disorders
Perform endoscopic procedures at two ambulatory surgery centers, including one on-site
Share call evenly, expected to be approximately 1:7, with inpatient work at a nearby hospital just 10 to 12 minutes away
Work Monday through Friday with 2 days weekly dedicated to procedures and the remaining time clinic-based
Manage an average clinic volume of 15 patients per day, including 5 to 7 new visits
Qualification
Required
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Internal Medicine
Completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Gastroenterology
Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology
Active medical license in New Jersey or ability to obtain one
Strong clinical skills and ability to work in a team environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to patient care and quality improvement
Preferred
Experience in general gastroenterology
Familiarity with endoscopic procedures
Interest in gastric disorders
Ability to work with a diverse patient population
