Responsibilities

Perform brain SPECT scans and related quality assurance procedures

Patient preparation for IVs and administration of patient doses

Process and print scan images before the end of the workday

Maintain Odyssey hard drive and accurate logbook

Perform daily quality control on cameras and hot lab duties

Conduct daily constancy tests, surveys, weekly wipe tests, and semi-annual sealed source leak tests

Order isotope vials in advance of scans and manage medical supplies inventory

Perform quarterly and annual testing on dose calibrators

Required

Current Nuclear Medicine Technologist License

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with large patient volumes

Empathy and emotional stability, with a genuine care for patient well-being

Preferred

Experience with brain imaging and familiarity with the Picker Prism 3000 system is a plus
