Part Time Physician, Physician Assistant or APRN
Liberation Programs is currently looking for a part-time Physician, Physician Assistant or APRN to focus on outpatient programs in Stamford. The purpose of this role is to provide medical evaluations and ongoing medication management to individuals identified as needing mental health services, working closely with counselors and others to facilitate care coordination.

Responsibilities
Physical Examinations
Review all referring medical documentation and make appropriate recommendations regarding recoverees suitable for the program
Make recommendations regarding needed follow-up care i.e., primary medical care, psychiatric care, dentist, neurology, OBGYN, etc
Review all assessment documentation and the results of the physical in order to make a appropriate recommendations regarding recoverees suitable for the MAT program
Provide medical consultation to the recoverees, nursing staff and clinical team regarding medications being prescribed by Liberation Programs
Answer medical questions from recoverees concerning the interactions between the addiction medication(s) being prescribed by LPI and other medications being prescribed by outside physicians
Provide medical consultation to the recoverees, nursing staff and clinical team regarding medications being prescribed by Liberation
Qualification
Required
Current DPH Physician, Physician Assistant or APRN license to practice in Connecticut
Current DEA License, X Waiver, and experience with Medicated Assisted Treatment preferable
At least 1 year of experience in addiction or psychiatric medicine
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a team
