Responsibilities

You will assess, plan, intervene and evaluate the care of critically ill patients
You will instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions
You will maintain and review patients’ records including posting tests and examination results
You will administer medications in accordance with physician orders

Qualification

Florida RN licenseACLS certificationNIHSS certificationBLS certificationAcute care experienceService excellenceComputer skillsCritical thinkingCommunication skills

Required

Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse or appropriate compact licensure (FL RN license required within 60 days of hire)
Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred
Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience required
Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required
Strong critical thinking, service excellence, communication, and computer skills
Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience required
Candidates will be considered for MICU, SICU, or CSU
AHA ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer
NIHSS certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer
