HR & People Development Manager
Confidential company is seeking a dynamic and experienced HR & People Development Manager to lead their Human Resources, Payroll, Training, and Recruiting functions. This individual will serve as a key culture champion, focusing on developing people, strengthening teams, and ensuring operational excellence across all HR-related processes.

Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance, and coaching to the HR, Recruiting, Payroll, and Training teams
Foster a culture of positivity, accountability, professional growth, and teamwork
Identify development opportunities for team members and build individualized growth plans
Lead strategic initiatives that enhance employee engagement and organizational culture
Manage all HR operations, including employee relations, compliance, performance management, and benefits administration
Ensure HR policies and practices align with state/federal employment laws
Provide guidance to management on employee relations and organizational structure
Oversee new-hire onboarding and ensure a consistent, high-quality employee experience
Oversee the Training Department to ensure consistent onboarding, skills training, and continuing education across the company
Support the design, implementation, and updating of training programs to elevate team performance and ensure compliance
Monitor quality and effectiveness of training across all locations
Supervise the Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate, timely payroll processing
Ensure compliance with payroll laws and internal processes
Partner with Finance/Operations to maintain accuracy and integrity of employee data
Lead the Recruiting team to attract, hire, and retain top-tier talent
Oversee recruiting strategy, hiring timelines, candidate pipelines, and offer processes
Ensure hiring needs are met across all departments quickly and effectively
Travel up to 4 days per week, as needed, to visit company locations, support teams, oversee training implementation, and ensure alignment with company standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (preferred)
5+ years of HR experience, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or multi-department oversight role
Strong working knowledge of HR laws, payroll processes, training development, and recruiting best practices
Exceptional people skills with the ability to inspire, develop, and motivate teams
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-minded environment
Willingness and ability to travel frequently
