Nursing Instructor (After-School, Part Time, In-Person)
Concorde Education is seeking an engaging, student-centered Introduction to Nursing Instructor to facilitate a short-format after-school enrichment course for high school students. The role involves delivering interactive and practical instruction on foundational nursing concepts and health care pathways over a typical 10-week cycle.

Responsibilities
Deliver a consistent, well-managed 10-week after-school course (typically 10 sessions)
Facilitate interactive activities (case scenarios, role plays, skill stations with simulated tools, discussion prompts)
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
Communicate professionally with site staff and Concorde Education program contacts
Track basic attendance and session completion requirements per program expectations
Support a simple culminating student artifact (examples: nursing career pathway plan, case-study reflection, “patient communication” role-play evaluation, or health education mini-presentation)
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 60 college credit hours completed (or associate degree in progress/completed)
Content knowledge in nursing, health sciences, or a closely related field (through coursework, training, professional experience, or current study)
Demonstrated interest in or experience working with school-age students (teaching, tutoring, mentoring, coaching, youth programs, or similar)
Strong communication and classroom facilitation skills; ability to present age-appropriate health career content in a supportive, inclusive environment
Reliable attendance and professionalism in a school-based setting; ability to follow site policies and maintain appropriate boundaries with students
