Responsibilities

Provide expert legal advice on corporate tax matters including M&A transactions, joint ventures, and corporate reorganizations
Conduct thorough analysis of tax laws and regulations to develop effective tax strategies for clients
Draft and review legal documents such as shareholder agreements, LLC agreements, and tax compliance filings
Advise clients on tax planning initiatives and transfer pricing strategies to optimize their overall tax position
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to structure transactions that minimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance
Represent clients in discussions with tax authorities and during audits, providing legal support and guidance

Required

Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school with bar admission in NJ
Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate tax law, with a focus on transactional tax structuring and compliance
Strong understanding of federal and state tax laws, including regulations governing LLCs, S-Corps, and C-Corps
Demonstrated experience in M&A, joint ventures, and corporate reorganizations
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues
Currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa
