Responsibilities
Lead the design and delivery of municipal, roadway, and transportation infrastructure projects for both public and private clients
Mentor and collaborate with engineers and technicians, fostering knowledge sharing and technical excellence
Engage with clients, stakeholders, and public agencies, representing the firm in meetings, presentations, and community discussions
Oversee project documentation, including plans, specifications, and reports, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and regulatory compliance
Manage quality assurance and quality control processes across projects, upholding firm standards of technical rigor and design excellence
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including water resources, structural, and survey professionals to deliver integrated project outcomes
Contribute to business growth, supporting proposals, client development, and process improvement initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
At least 4+ years of design experience in roadway, transportation, or municipal engineering
Strong knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, GEOPAK, or OpenRoads Designer (ORD)
Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure in Minnesota (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
Preferred
Experience collaborating with state DOTs, counties, or municipalities is a plus
