Responsibilities
Delivering high-quality, patient-centred primary care to individuals and families across the lifespan
Providing care in both outpatient and inpatient settings, performing minor procedures, offering preventive and acute care, and serving as an emergency backup
Working collaboratively with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and multidisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care and optimal health outcomes
Caring for families and individuals, including injury care (including ER coverage)
Disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery, including during hospitalization
Performing surgical and other procedures (colonoscopies, EGDs, scopes and lesion excisions) as appropriate with experience and competency
Prescribing and administering medications, performing routine vaccinations, and providing advice regarding personal health and hygiene
Requesting necessary tests and follow-up visits and referring patients to specialists as necessary
Ensuring quality clinical and hospital care in a safe, efficient, competent and effective manner
Preparing records and reports as required in support of services in accordance with established procedures
Attending and participating in patient care conferences, team conferences, professional staff conferences and other appropriate professional activities as appropriate

Qualification
Required
Medical Degree from accredited school with license to practice
Successful completion of accredited Family Medicine residency
Certification or eligibility for certification by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM)
BLS
ACLS
Willing to relocate to Fairbury, NE
