Superintendent (commercial construction)
K2 Staffing is representing a full-service commercial construction general contractor seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead Tenant Improvement and Ground-Up projects in Beverly Hills, CA. The Superintendent will be responsible for delivering projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities
Lead and manage all daily on-site activities for Tenant Improvement and Ground-Up commercial projects (planning, sequence of work, crew and subcontractor coordination)
Implement and enforce safety programs and site rules (ensuring compliance with OSHA and company safety standards)
Maintain and drive project schedule identify critical path activities, coordinate trades, and proactively resolve schedule conflicts
Oversee quality control: inspect workmanship, verify compliance with contract documents, and enforce company quality standards through punch lists and turnover procedures
Coordinate with Project Managers, Estimators, Architects, clients and subcontractors; attend and lead site meetings and provide clear, timely field reporting
Manage site documentation: daily reports, RFIs, submittals, change documentation, logs, and as-built documentation (Procore or equivalent experience preferred)
Control field costs by monitoring labor productivity, materials, and subcontractor performance; identify and escalate budget risks
Ensure timely and professional turnover to the client, including coordination of commissioning, inspections, and final closeout
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5+ years as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects with demonstrated experience on Tenant Improvements (TIs) and Ground-Up builds
Strong ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and construction details
Proficient in construction scheduling (critical path logic), basic cost tracking, and subcontractor coordination
Valid California drivers license
High school diploma or equivalent required
Preferred
Experience in high-end/commercial interiors
OSHA 30 or equivalent
First Aid/CPR
Familiarity with Procore, PlanGrid, Bluebeam, or similar construction management tools
Associates/Bachelors in Construction Management or related field
Formal craft/journeyman background
