Technical Business Development Executive
Pomeroy is poised to increase its technology footprint in 2026 dramatically. The Business Development professional is responsible for driving growth of technical staffing placements at large companies globally, focusing on qualifying and closing new business opportunities and quota targets.
Responsibilities
Qualify, develop, and manage potential clients for today and the future in Salesforce.com
Collaborate closely with co-workers and fill open roles with highly qualified professionals
Partner with sales in other divisions and try and get introductions and leverage existing client trust
Proactively assess market demand, competitive trends, and emerging opportunities
Build constant pipelines of candidates
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience selling staff augmentation at a company, placing long-term technical resources in client companies
5+ years of experience in the IT staffing industry in enterprise augmentation roles
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Highly competitive, driven, and motivated to exceed targets
Demonstrable experience with technology-focused objectives, initiatives, and strategies
High School Diploma required
Preferred
BA/BS preferred (technical discipline strongly preferred)
