Responsibilities
Program, set up, and operate CNC surface grinders (Okamoto)
Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and work instructions
Select wheels, fixtures, tooling, etc
Inspect parts using various hand tools (tolerances are as low as 2 tenths)
Collaborate with other departments to resolve production or quality issues
Maintain equipment, machines, and facilities
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
3+ years experience with precision surface grinding
Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T
Proficient with precision measuring tools
Preferred
Technical/trade school preferred
CNC programming experience is a plus!
