Non-Employee Content and Asset Manager
Scalence L.L.C. is seeking a skilled specialist to advance enterprise-wide Configuration Management Database (CMDB) initiatives. The role is critical to improving IT Asset Management maturity and ensuring regulatory compliance while collaborating across various teams to maintain CMDB integrity and support audit readiness.

Responsibilities
Collaborate on the ServiceNow CMDB strategy, governance, and operational practices to ensure effective lifecycle management of Configuration Items (CIs)
Optimize and govern ServiceNow Discovery schedules, ensuring accurate CI population and alignment with asset and lifecycle automation
Maintain strong partnerships with Cybersecurity, Enterprise Architecture, Application, and Infrastructure teams to align CMDB practices with security, architecture, and operational standards
Lead CMDB data quality and remediation efforts, resolving gaps in collaboration with CI and asset owners
Support ServiceNow Service Mapping of IT business services, enabling accurate representation of service dependencies
Perform end-to-end CMDB operational processes, enforcing data standards, policy controls, and governance frameworks
Manage integration and decommissioning of legacy CMDB tools while supporting asset registration, discovery, and ongoing data quality initiatives
Drive audit readiness and reporting to meet regulatory and compliance requirements
Qualification
Required
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping
Strong understanding of CI lifecycle management, asset management, and data governance practices
Experience collaborating across Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, and Application teams
Expertise in CMDB data quality, remediation, and policy enforcement
Familiarity with IT Asset Management processes, regulatory compliance, and audit readiness
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred
Experience with enterprise IT service management (ITSM) platforms and integrations
Knowledge of automation, scripting, or ServiceNow workflow enhancements
Exposure to regulatory frameworks and IT compliance standards
