We are seeking a dedicated Dock Worker to join our team, responsible for loading and unloading trailers, operating forklifts, and maintaining inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities
Load and unload freight on trailers using a sit-down, propane forklift, pallet jack, or manually, following state and federal DOT guidelines
Safely transport freight and equipment throughout the warehouse
Manually pull and stack pallets as needed; rebuild damaged pallets prior to shipping
Operate heavy equipment such as manual pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, various forklifts, etc
Inspect trailers to ensure loads are complete and accurate
Maintain accurate loading documentation for shipping, receiving, and inventory control
Keep the warehouse clean, orderly, and safe at all times
Follow all safety protocols and maintain proper load security
Perform other duties as needed or instructed
Qualification
Required
Ability to consistently lift, push, pull, or carry items weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the shift
Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of the shift, including frequent movement between loading areas and trailers
Requires frequent bending at the waist, stretching, and reaching overhead to load and secure freight
Must be able to work in changing weather conditions if the loading/unloading area is exposed to outdoor elements
Capability to operate a forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment as needed
Preferred
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Previous forklift experience preferred
