Responsibilities
Design, develop, and manage our dynamic AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform
Collaborate closely with engineering teams to design and implement CI/CD pipelines optimized for deploying and managing our analytics engine
Identify and eliminate manual toil across the engineering organization, utilizing NodeJS and Python and cloud-native services to achieve near-100% automation
Design, build, and maintain secure network connectivity and Site-to-Site VPN solutions
Own the entire lifecycle of our ECS and Kubernetes (EKS) clusters, implementing GitOps principles and advanced automation for reliable, automatic infrastructure state convergence
Act as an escalation point for production issues
Qualification
Required
Deep AWS Expertise: Expert-level, hands-on experience with key AWS services, including VPC, EC2, ECS, EKS, IAM, S3, and SQS
Advanced Automation & Scripting: Proficiency in writing production-grade automation code using Python, NodeJS, and/or Shell Scripting
IaC Mastery: Proven experience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code tools, focusing on modularity and reusability
Containerization & Orchestration: Strong command of Docker and Kubernetes/EKS lifecycle management
CI/CD Pipeline Design: Experience building robust, high-throughput CI/CD pipelines
Networking Fundamentals: Deep understanding of networking, VPN technologies, TLS, HTTPS, and network security protocols
Observability Driven: Use application and infrastructure observability as a data-driven approach to guide platform and infrastructure improvements
Preferred
Experience implementing security compliance and auditing in highly regulated environments (e.g., HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
Professional AWS Certification (e.g., DevOps Engineer Professional)
Experience with GitOps workflows using tools like ArgoCD or Flux
