Information Technology
Responsibilities
Process and screen cytologic specimens according to established procedures
Perform microscopic evaluation and issue diagnostic reports
Finalize negative GYN case reports; provide preliminary findings for other cases
Conduct and document quality control and quality assurance activities
Assist and ensure accuracy of fine needle aspiration (FNA) procedures
Maintain patient specimen identification and ensure accurate processing
Follow infection control and safety standards consistently
Contribute to efficient operations and adjust schedule based on workload
Qualification
Required
BS/BA in Cytotechnology, Biology, or Life Sciences
Completion of an accredited Cytotechnology program
Cytotechnologist (CT) ASCP or equivalent certification
Strong communication and listening skills
Technical proficiency and attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Availability for first-shift, Monday–Friday
