This role involves handling all phases of trust and estate litigation, including drafting legal documents, managing discovery, and preparing for trial, while collaborating with partners and clients on complex fiduciary disputes.

Responsibilities
Handle all phases of trust and estate litigation, including:
Drafting petitions and pleadings
Managing discovery and motion practice
Taking and defending depositions
Making court appearances
Preparing for and participating in trial
Litigate matters involving trusts, estates, conservatorships, guardianships, and elder abuse
Appear before Oregon circuit courts with probate jurisdiction and California probate courts
Collaborate closely with partners and clients on complex fiduciary disputes
Leverage related experience in trust and estate planning or administration (if applicable)
Qualification
Required
5+ years of focused experience in trust & estate litigation
Significant experience litigating probate and trust disputes in Oregon and/or California courts
Active Oregon Bar admission (required)
Strong writing, analytical, and courtroom skills
Confidence handling matters with a high degree of independence
Preferred
California Bar admission strongly preferred given the bi-state nature of the practice
