Direct interaction and communication with suppliers
Annual spend analysis
Supplier engagement and site visits
Supplier risk analysis
Supporting strategic sourcing plans
Cost reduction initiatives
Negotiation
Replenishment strategies
SAP and E-commerce utilization
Strategic new product development
Country of origin determination
Tariff data collection and review
Manufacturing plant and branch site visits
Facilitate problem solving meetings
End of term report out to Supply Chain leadership
Multiple positions are open for purchased materials planning, direct and indirect sourcing, new product development sourcing, trade compliance, logistics and data analytics. Crown will place students in an assignment that best fits the company’s needs and students’ interests, skills, and prior experiences
Qualification
Required
This position requires the candidate to be pursuing a bachelor's degree in one of these areas: Supply Chain, Logistics, International Business, Operations, MIS, Finance, General Business Marketing, or Pre-Corporate Law
Good analytical and communication skills required
