Plan, direct, and manage the design, maintenance, security, and optimization of information systems across the organization
Ensure alignment with operational goals and regulatory requirements
Provide leadership for system operations, infrastructure, and staff, including network management, software applications, system security, disaster recovery, and budgeting
Work closely with executive leadership, clinical departments, and external partners to evaluate system needs, implement improvements, and ensure reliable, secure technology that supports clinical and business workflows
Prepare for and support the selection, implementation, and optimization of a new EHR system, including staff training, workflow redesign, vendor coordination, and change management
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or a related field
Demonstrated experience managing healthcare information systems in a hospital or clinic setting
Experience with electronic health records (EHRs)
Strong leadership skills
Strong communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively across departments in a rural healthcare environment
Preferred
Experience participating in or leading EHR implementations, upgrades, or system conversions
