UVM Medical Center is dedicated to providing the highest quality care for patients and their families. They are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Lab Assistant to join their pathology team, responsible for organizing laboratory specimen slides and performing clerical duties.

Responsibilities

Scanning and Filing glass slides after testing
Pulling slides for pathologists
Organizing slide trays for storage or review
Fast‑paced environment
Assist in building a multidisciplinary conference

Required

Reliable, detail‑oriented Lab Assistant
Ability to perform clerical, technical, or both duties as they pertain to the specific laboratory division
Scanning and Filing glass slides after testing
Pulling slides for pathologists
Organizing slide trays for storage or review
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
Assist in building a multidisciplinary conference
Dependable and punctual individual who works well independently
A team‑oriented mindset and willingness to help where needed
Flexible hours (15 per week and must be consistent)
High school graduate or equivalent

Preferred

Computer/keyboard experience is preferred
