Responsibilities
Supporting the design and permitting of solid waste facilities, including landfills, transfer stations, and recycling facilities
Develop engineering designs, drawings, and specifications for solid waste projects
Prepare and update various regulatory plans (SWP3s, SPCC plans, GWPPs, etc.)
Assist with the preparation of summary reports for various engineering projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field
Background in civil engineering, CADD grading, and hydrology/hydraulic design (sizing culverts, designing sediment basins, etc.)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on solid waste management projects
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Valid driver's license
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, and other relevant civil design tools
Preferred
Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred
