Responsibilities

Develop accurate conceptual and schematic cost estimates for engineering and construction projects
Collaborate with project managers, design teams, and clients to align estimates with project scope and financial targets
Coordinate and manage discipline-specific estimators to produce detailed cost breakdowns for labor, materials, and other components
Present cost models and estimates to internal teams and clients, ensuring clarity and transparency
Conduct risk analyses and maintain historical cost data for benchmarking
Support preconstruction efforts and assist in converting opportunities into active projects
Mentor junior estimators and contribute to regional estimating standards and tools

Required

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
10–15 years of multi-discipline estimating experience, preferably in life sciences or food & beverage
Strong background in conceptual estimating and collaboration with design teams
Familiarity with design-build and integrated project delivery methods
Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Sage, Timberline, WinEst, or similar)
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to travel regionally as needed

Preferred

Experience with cleanroom environments, R&D labs, or large-scale manufacturing projects ($100M+)
Knowledge of Revit, ACC, Trimbull, and Monte Carlo simulation tools
Project management experience with temporary teams
Strong contractor network and industry connections
