Responsibilities
Provide administration and technical support of the DB2 for z/OS environments, including problem analysis and resolution
Provide on-call support and respond within the agreed SLA. Satisfy any on-site support requirements as required
Build and perform maintenance and migration to new levels for DB2 environments
Installing, customizing, maintenance and migration to new levels of OEM and ISV Software Products
Consulting with the customer on configuration changes and new features of software
Support Disaster Recovery exercises
Manage changes within standard control processes and mechanisms
Produce clear technical documentation
Qualification
Required
Must have 4 years of progressive experience in DB2 for z/OS technical support
Must be a USC or Greencard holder
Functional knowledge and use of SMPE, DB2 tools, JCL, System maintenance and patching
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
Ability to work unsupervised and independently seek out and interact with colleagues and outside vendors
Capability to shuffle priorities in response to a changing workload
Flexibility to keep up with changing technology
