Responsibilities
Be reliable and punctual in reporting for scheduled work
Maintain a positive work environment
Begin by helping set up cutters and machine guards
Check that the cutter turns off and on correctly
Continuously feed the cutter with raw material, observing for foreign material
Perform basic maintenance/troubleshooting on equipment
Help change blades on cutters, as needed; requiring use of specialized PPE
Fills out cut room paperwork
Assist with daily sanitation clean-up
Maintaining floor free of slip and trip hazards, removing waste materials
Maintain halls and floors free of slip and trip hazards
Maintain workspace cleanliness
Assist supervisor or lead in any assigned task
Follow basic food safety regulations
Follow basic safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment
May require use of electric pallet jack, as needed
Qualification
Required
Able to lift 70 lbs and push 600 lbs tubs
