Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of 15-20 cases, serving as the lead attorney from filing through trial
Develop case strategies and theories
Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
Take and defend depositions, including those of plaintiffs, defendants, experts, and more
Engage in settlement negotiations
Act as second chair in trials
Maintain regular client communication to provide updates on case progress
Oversee and direct paralegals and other support staff
Qualification
Required
2-8 years of experience in plaintiff personal injury litigation
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
Active membership with the California Bar in good standing
Proven track record of successfully managing a caseload and resolving cases for high-value
Strong legal research and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Client-focused approach with strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
High ethical standards and commitment to professional integrity
Preferred
Trial experience is a plus, but not required
