Responsibilities
Set-up, start up, and maintain production equipment
Ensure quality by verifying that production meets the required specifications through adjustments and documenting any changes to the process
Identify production, scrap, and downtime reporting this to the supervisor
Assist mold changer, utility, and inspector while keeping the supervisor/ lead technician informed
Assure daily preventative maintenance requirements are meet
Safety and housekeeping
Assist in training others as needed
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Previous Injection Molding experience a plus
Mechanical knowledge
Working knowledge of ISO and SQF
Can substitute for Molding Department Supervisor, Material Handler, Mold Changer, Utility, and/or Inspector
Medium work: up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally; 20 lbs. frequently; 10 lbs. constantly to move objects
Repetitive motion
Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing
